当归三七炖鸡

当归三七炖鸡-月经痛，月经量少，血瘀。

材料： 当归20克，田七7克，柴鸡150克 ，生姜，甜酒酿，料酒，海盐

全当归：当归头补血，当归尾

《本草纲目》记载： 田三七： 甘，微苦，温。归肝经，胃经。散瘀止血，消肿定痛。

入肝经血分，功善止血，又能化瘀生新，止血不留淤，化瘀不伤正的特点。

治吐血，纽血，崩漏，单用本品，米汤服用。

做法：

1，当归，三七洗净，浸泡一夜，切段，柴鸡洗净，斩块。

2，再将柴鸡块，生姜和少许料酒放入滚水中煮5分钟，取起过冷水。

3，把鸡块放入锅中，加入生姜，甜酒酿翻炒，

4，把全部用料放入煲内，加滚水适量，盖好，小伙炖两小时，调味供用。

功效：补益气血，活血化瘀。适合血虚有瘀之月经不调者服用。

Angelica & Panax Notoginseng Stewed Chicken (For Menstrual Pain and Scanty Menstrual Flow)

Ingredients:

• Angelica sinensis (Dang Gui) 20 g

• Panax notoginseng (Tian Qi) 7 g

• Free-range chicken 150 g

  • Ginger

  • Sweet fermented rice wine (sweet rice wine lees)

  • Cooking wine

  • Sea salt

Whole Angelica sinensis (Dang Gui):

The head of Dang Gui nourishes the blood; the tail of Dang Gui promotes blood circulation and dispels blood stasis.

“Compendium of Materia Medica” (Ben Cao Gang Mu) records:

Panax notoginseng (San Qi): 

Sweet, slightly bitter, warm in nature. It enters the Liver and Stomach meridians.

It disperses blood stasis, stops bleeding, reduces swelling, and relieves pain.

It enters the blood aspect of the Liver meridian. Its strength lies in stopping bleeding while simultaneously transforming blood stasis and generating new blood. Thus,

t stops bleeding without causing stagnation, and removes stasis without damaging healthy qi.

It is used for vomiting of blood, epistaxis (nosebleed), and uterine bleeding. It may be used alone and taken with rice water.

Method:

1. Rinse the angelica and Panax notoginseng, soak for one night, then cut into sections. Clean the chicken and chop into pieces.

2. Put the chicken pieces, ginger slices, and a small amount of cooking wine into boiling water. Blanch for 5 minutes, remove, and rinse under cold water.

3. Heat a pot, add the chicken pieces, ginger, and sweet fermented rice wine, and stir-fry briefly.

4. Transfer all ingredients into a stew pot, add an appropriate amount of boiling water, cover, and simmer over low heat for 2 hours. Season to taste and serve.
